Terms of service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us about using Momentos. We’ve tried to keep them clear and fair. Please read them alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we look after your information.

Who we are

Momentos is run by Dale Rushin, trading as Runewick, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Address: 32 Valley Road, Kimberley, Nottingham, NG16 2HL. Email: support@momentos-app.com.

Using Momentos

Families and your photos

Photos you upload belong to the family you uploaded them to, so they stay available to the family if you leave. You keep the rights you already have in your photos. By uploading, you give us permission to store them, make smaller copies, and show them to the members of that family, and nothing else. We use your photos for no other purpose, and we only print them if a member orders prints.

Every family has an owner, who can give other members permissions such as uploading, deleting and inviting. You can read how this works in the app.

What you must not do

You can report a photo or a problem by emailing support@momentos-app.com. We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, where these terms are broken or the law requires it. We’ll tell you why where we can, and how to appeal.

Storage and plans

The shop

We plan to let you order prints, frames and photo books made from your photos, but the shop isn’t open yet. Before it opens, we’ll add the delivery, returns and cancellation details here, and they’ll apply to anything you order.

Looking after your photos

We look after your photos with reasonable care and skill, and we protect them from loss with backups. But no service can promise never to lose anything. If photos are precious, you can download a copy at any time, and we’d encourage you to.

We work hard to keep Momentos running, but we can’t promise it will always be available. We may change or improve the service, and we’ll tell you about changes that matter.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Otherwise, if we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we’re responsible for losses that were a foreseeable result of that. We’re not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for losses to a business.

Ending things

You can stop using Momentos and delete your account at any time in the app. We can suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it, and we’ll tell you first where we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. We’ll tell you in the app or by email before an important change takes effect, and you can close your account if you don’t agree.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can bring a claim in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections that the law of your country gives consumers and that can’t be changed by a contract.

If something’s wrong, please email us first so we can try to put it right.
